"If Christ were here now there is one thing he would not be - a Christian." Mark Twain
Last night's dream...
...the primary one, anyway, was mildly disturbing.
I was somewhere, sitting around, working on something, and I discovered a child, or the child discovered me. She was young, only a few years old, and took to sitting on my right leg while I went about my business. I got the sense that I knew of her, and that she was a missing child, though from where I did not know. Eventually, I went in to town, and I don't think I had the child with me. In fact, I think I was in town much later in time than when I met the missing child. I saw an older kid, maybe eight or ten, who looked like a grown up version of the little one. I thought it was her, in fact. Then, I came upon the mother of the missing child, the little one. When I told her I'd found her, she cried, or was upset, and sent me away, where I found a gravestone. I don't recall the name or the date, but it was the one I'd found. She was dead, I assume, or presumed dead, and I never saw her again.
